Woods Services Foundation

Woods Services is a private, non-profit organization that is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Founded in 1913, Woods has a long history of providing residential, educational and vocational services for more than 1,400 children and adults with special needs. Of these, more than 400 are school-aged children. The primary goal is to help individuals acquire and develop new skills that will help them gain independence and reach their highest level of achievement.

What makes Woods distinctive is that it provides a unique continuum of care for its clients. Residential and community programs combine a personalized approach with expertise in special education, clinical services, therapies, habilitation, vocational training and health care. Woods, among the largest employers in Bucks County, employs 2,000 people who provide services that range from 24-hour nursing care to therapeutic supports.
