Our mission is to help all people improve communication and vocational independence for life. We serve children throughout Central Ohio with speech-language, hearing and occupational therapy issues. Our programs range from ongoing speech therapy, occupational therapy services, educational and therapy programs for autistic children, parent education trainings and preschool programs for children with speech-language delays.
For 85 years, the Columbus Speech & Hearing Center has served tens of thousands of people with communication problems in the Columbus Metropolitan area and beyond. The Center provides complete diagnostic and therapeutic services to children and adults with communication disorders, as well as vocational rehabilitation programs designed to assist adults who are hearing-impaired, Deaf, or Deaf-Blind.
The Center has gained the recognition and support of local foundations and service clubs, as well as private and public businesses. This generous community support has enabled and encouraged innovative programs, specialized staff training, and has increased public awareness of the services offered by the Columbus Speech & Hearing Center. Today, the Center offers comprehensive and diversified services in our three program department areas: Speech-Language Pathology/Occupational Thearpy, Audiology/Hearing Services and Vocational Rehabilitation Services. Our mission is to help all people improve communication for life.
