The Child Study Center provides diagnosis and treatment services to children who have or are at risk for developmental disabilities and related behavioral and emotional problems so that these children may achieve their full potential.
The Child Study Center facility was built in 1966 and expanded in 1996, adding a second story. The building and land are owned free of debt and encumbrances, providing a child-friendly yet professional backdrop for our activities.
The Jane Justin School opened in 1970 in answer to the need for an individualized program of learning for children with developmental disabilities. In 1996, the NIGrads Clinic was created to respond to the need for a follow-up clinic targeting high-risk NICU graduates discharged from Tarrant County's NICUs. Autism Services opened in 2008 to enable all children with autism to receive the help they need for their developmental disability.
