Bobby Dodd Institute Inc

Our mission is to empower youth and adults with disabilities and disadvantages to maximize their potential by securing economic self-sufficiency, independence and integration into society. We annually serve more than 700 clients residing in metro Atlanta and Covington, GA. We have a permanent placement program, which last year alone placed 167 clients into jobs at an average wage of $8.23 per hour and created an economic impact of over $3 million in wages earned and decreased public assistance. BDI also creates jobs for people with disabilities by operating its own business units, which include data processing for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, janitorial services for 16 metro-area locations, switchboard operations for the Veterans Administration Medical Center, mailroom management for the IRS office and Georgia State University, and laser toner cartridge sales and service for Atlanta-area customers.
